Privacy Policy

1. About Us
Artifactive Inc. ("we", "us", "Artifactive") is a technology company based in Delaware, United States. We operate a web-based service for hosting and sharing files behind a company login. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Artifactive service and how we handle it.
2. Data We Collect
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. We collect only the information we need to provide the service.
The data we collect:
- Email address — used to authenticate you and control access to your account and to the dashboards you're permitted to view.
- Name — provided through your sign-in provider (such as Google Workspace, Okta, or Microsoft Entra) and used to identify your account.
- Content you publish — the HTML files and dashboards you upload to Artifactive for hosting.
- Authentication and access logs — records of sign-in events and which dashboards an account accessed, kept for security and to provide an audit trail.
We do not collect location data, device sensor data, contacts, calendar data, advertising identifiers, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data above to authenticate users, host and serve the content you publish, control who can view that content, secure the service, and maintain access records. When you create an account, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to operate Artifactive. AWS provides the infrastructure that hosts our service, stores the content you publish along with your account data, and delivers the authentication emails used to sign you in.
We use Google to understand aggregate traffic for the marketing site. Product, app, and customer dashboard contents are not used for that purpose and are kept private. AWS is contractually obligated to protect your data and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
5. Data Processing Locations
Your data is processed and stored in the United States on AWS infrastructure. By using Artifactive, you consent to your data being processed in this location.
6. Information Security
We take the security of your data seriously and use industry-standard measures to keep it safe, consistent with applicable US data-security laws, including the Delaware SHIELD Act. Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to perform their duties, and they are bound by confidentiality obligations.
7. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except where the law requires it or you have given us explicit permission. AWS, our service provider, accesses only the data necessary to host and operate the service and is contractually bound to protect it.
8. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. Once we receive your request, we will permanently remove your email, name, published content, and access records within 30 days, and we will confirm once deletion is complete. You may also request access to the personal data we hold about you or ask us to correct it.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable US state privacy laws, and you may contact the relevant state authority if you have concerns about how we handle your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@artifactive.com.
9. Children's Privacy
Artifactive is not directed to or intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
