Artifactive

How do I share a Claude dashboard so only my company can open it?

Publish the dashboard through Artifactive. It turns your Claude-built HTML file into a link that opens only after the viewer signs in with their company email.

Build the dashboard in Claude, publish it through Artifactive, and share the Artifactive link. The viewer does not need Claude, a Claude seat, or any new software. They click the link, reach a company-login screen, sign in with their work email, and the dashboard loads.

Claude is still where the dashboard gets made. Artifactive handles the distribution: hosting the static HTML file, checking who can open it, and keeping viewers free.

Why Claude's built-in sharing doesn't do this

Claude has two different sharing paths for artifacts.

On free, Pro, and Max plans, Claude uses publishing. A published artifact is public: anyone with the link can view and interact with it. Non-users can open published artifacts without signing up, though Claude may ask them to sign in for customization or AI-powered features.

On Team and Enterprise plans, Claude uses internal sharing. Shared artifacts stay inside the Claude organization, and viewers must authenticate with their Team or Enterprise account. That works when everyone who needs the dashboard already belongs to the Claude workspace.

A company dashboard often has a wider audience than the people who build in Claude. Finance may build the report. Sales, ops, leadership, and customer success may only need to open it once a week. Claude Team requires at least five members, and standard seats are listed at $25 per member per month when billed monthly or $20 per member per month when billed annually. If 40 people need to view the dashboard, those viewers still need access to the Claude organization.

Artifactive separates the two jobs. The person building the dashboard uses Claude. The people viewing it use the company login they already have.

How to do it

  1. Build the dashboard in Claude. Ask Claude for a dashboard, report, chart, or single-page HTML artifact. Iterate until the page is ready to share.
  2. Export or publish from Claude Desktop. If you have the Artifactive Claude Desktop extension, publish from Claude. If not, download or copy the HTML file from Claude.
  3. Publish through Artifactive. Drag the HTML file onto the Artifactive web interface, or publish from Claude Desktop using the extension. Publishing takes about ten seconds.
  4. Copy the gated link. Artifactive gives you a link to the hosted dashboard. The link itself does not grant access.
  5. Share it with your company. Send the link in Slack, email, Notion, or wherever the team already works. Viewers open it in the browser.

What the viewer sees

The viewer clicks the link and lands on a company-login screen. They enter their work email, complete the login, and the dashboard opens. The first visit takes about 30 seconds. After that, the browser remembers them.

They do not need a Claude account. They do not need to join the Claude workspace. They do not need to install anything.

Artifactive pricing follows publishers, not viewers. Core is $128/month for up to 5 publishers, Business is $338/month for up to 15 publishers, and larger plans are custom. Viewers are unlimited and free.

What stays private

The dashboard is gated before it loads. If someone outside the approved company domain clicks the link, they reach the login screen and cannot get past it.

Forwarding the link does not bypass the gate. The viewer still has to authenticate with a company email. A copied URL is not enough.

Artifactive hosts the static HTML file you publish. It does not share the Claude conversation that created the dashboard, and it does not expose attachments from the Claude chat. Anything you embed inside the HTML file is visible to authorized viewers, so keep raw data, private notes, and API keys out of the file unless they are meant to be seen by that audience.

Artifactive works out of the box with a login link to the viewer's work email. It also connects to Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft Entra, and other major identity providers. The setup details live in the security overview.

Common questions

Can I share a Claude dashboard with only my company?

Yes. Build the dashboard in Claude, publish the static HTML file through Artifactive, and share the Artifactive link. Viewers sign in with their company email before the dashboard loads.

Why not publish the artifact directly from Claude?

On free, Pro, and Max plans, publishing makes the artifact public. Anyone with the link can view and interact with it. That is useful for public demos and examples, but it is not company-only distribution.

Can I use Claude Team or Enterprise sharing instead?

Yes, if every viewer is already a member of your Claude organization. Claude's internal artifact sharing is built for people inside the Claude workspace. Artifactive fits when the dashboard should reach people across the company who do not need Claude seats.

Does the viewer need Claude?

No. The viewer opens a normal web link, signs in with their work email, and sees the dashboard in the browser.

What happens if someone forwards the link outside the company?

The recipient reaches the login screen. The link does not grant access by itself, and someone outside the approved company domain cannot open the dashboard.

Can I publish straight from Claude Desktop?

Yes. Use the Artifactive Claude Desktop extension to publish from Claude. You can also export the HTML and drag it into the Artifactive web interface.

Does this work with Google Workspace, Okta, or Microsoft Entra?

Yes. Artifactive works out of the box with a login link to the viewer's work email and connects to Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft Entra, and other major providers. See the security overview for the configuration details.

Does this work for AI-powered Claude artifacts?

Artifactive hosts static HTML files: dashboards, reports, and artifacts that can run as a standalone page. If the artifact depends on Claude's AI-powered artifact runtime, keep that version in Claude or rebuild the live AI calls separately before publishing.

Is Artifactive replacing Claude sharing?

No. Claude is the creation tool. Artifactive is the distribution layer for a finished dashboard that needs to reach viewers who do not need Claude.
